This course is intended for project managers who have to design specifications for hydrographic works. The specification of hydrographic surveys must be very precise, rigorous, be based on standards, and impose quality control and quality assurance work. The aim of this course is to define a methodology for the specification of hydrographic instructions by proposing methods of estimating the cost of the specified operations.
To acquire knowledge of the different types of hydrographic surveys, the means used and the current quality limits of hydrographic measurement systems;
Knowledge of minimum hydrographic standards;
Define quality control and quality assurance criteria;
Learn to estimate the cost of a hydrographic operation;
Draft Hydrographic Instructions.
Prerequisites: General knowledge in Geomatics
Trainer : Nicolas SEUBE, Scientific Director of CIDCO, representative of the International Hydrographic Organization (IHO) on the International Committee on Hydrographic and Cartographic Training Standards.
